A) I have used this CVompany several times and find them both very useful and ehlpful. Get in touch with Mr. Kar at the Shaftesbury Aenue address. Let him know what you want and he'll put together a package for you. OR make your own package. Use Oasis Airlines and Silvermine Beach Hotel about an hour from the airport (book through Asia Travel). Could be cheaper than a package tour.

A) London is expensive. That's just the way it is. However remember the price quoted is what you pay, unlike so many US hotels that then charge city tax, hotel tax, and sales tax on top of the quoted price when you check out. A) Sorry that don't have any experience with this website before. But according to my experience: 1/ rate is usually lower by booking through the hotels websites themselves. They usually offer same or lower promotion price. This is most reliable too 2/ use bigger international established websites like www.hotel.com and www.zuji.com. I have been using them for years and they are highly reliable and offer good service. Sometimes, they can offer good hot rates. They allow cancellation subject to "terms" as stated clearly except for some pre-payment deals. Hope you find this useful.
