McCanns: would you go on a family holiday next year to the Ocean Club resort in Praia da Luz in the Algarve ?

Q) In view of what has happened at the Ocean Club resort in Praia da Luz in the Algarve in May-August this year, would you still consider going on a family holiday there next year, or have you been put off by events ?

A) Of course I would. But then again I am a responcible parent who knows better than to let my child out of my sight in a foreign country let alone at home.

Looking for a good European family holiday for February.?

Q) We want to go on holiday in February for half-term break. We have 2 kids, 2 yrs and 5 yrs so it needs to be family friendly but we also love sightseeing. Doesn't have to be too warm but want it to be warmer than London. Looking at going for about 1 week. No trips anywhere with a too much of a time difference either. Got any ideas for me? (we have already done: Rome, Paris, Algarve, Munich, skiing in the Alps, and Malaga Spain)

A) Croatia is nice....Its quiet and doens;t have masses of things to see like other coutries, but its friendly, cheap and beautiful. There are some lovely islands to see and Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar up the coast are lovely ( but quite small you would not want to spend your entire time in one town)... I would have loved to have seen the lakes (starts with P...pivitk or something like that) apparently its stunning. Hiring a car would be best for you as there are few to no trains and buses are the main way to get around.
